- Description
- There is both geological and historical evidence for tsunami affecting New South Wales (NSW) and the rest of Australia [8]. Approximately 80% of tsunami to impact NSW have been earthquake-generated [8,23] which is consistent with global statistics [15]. This study focuses on earthquake generated tsunami, excluding other source types such as volcano, submarine landslide and asteroid sources.
